So you’re walking on a Mumbai street with your camera in hand to capture emotions. So what’s the purest form of emotions? I guess it’s the love of parents towards their kids. No any other emotions can compete with it. And its always attract my eyes on a street if I come across with such emotion and I don’t miss the chance to click pictures of such emotion.

In a city like Mumbai, parents hardly take their kids out for a walk as everyone is busy with their own working life and issues. It feels amazing when you see a parent sitting on a sea shore with their child or carrying them on their shoulder as it’s a special moment for kids as such small things carry with them through their life time.

But every time one thing runs through my mind while clicking such pictures that one should not invade their privacy and not to make them feel awkward or none of us wants to end up in some argument (or worse) with an angry parent. It’s just not worth it.

If you are caught while clicking picture, best thing is to show them the photo and try to explain them what caught your eye and why you clicked at first place and what you want to do with this picture. If they like it, offer to email them a copy. If they are still upset, then just delete it and apologize. Just don’t be in a argument with them to turn thing worse.

So if you want such candid click of such emotions in your portfolio, make sure that your picture should worth the risk, the moment your are trying to click should be special one. Anything less isn’t worth the effort.
